SANTA FE BRANCH MEETINGS

Santa Fe Branch Membership Meetings are described in detail in the Calendar section of this web site and in the monthly Newsletter. Regular monthly meetings are on the first Wednesday or the first Saturday of each month, September through June. Before meetings a group meets informally at a restaurant near the meeting place at 5:00 for Wednesday meetings and at various times for Saturday meetings. All are welcome to the dinner. These will be announced in the Newsletter. Members are encouraged to bring guests. Night meetings begin at 6:30 and day meeting begin at various times. Any changes to this schedule will be announced in the Newsletter, by telephone or e-mail and on the web site.

SFPS ADELANTE Program’s Food and Coats Drive

Our branch has adopted the Adelante program as one of our outreach programs. We are collecting coats and dry food to donate to the Santa Fe Public Schools’ homeless children, youth and their families. We also knit scarves and hats for the children.

Please bring your donations to Lina German, our Outreach Coordinator, at any of our monthly meetings and we will make sure they get delivered to the Adelante pantry.

They need coats sizes 6-16, and dry food such as: Powdered milk, Canned tomatoes, Canned stews, Tomato sauce, Canned milk, Canned meats, Cereal & Oatmeal, Tuna fish, Soups, Dried & canned fruit, Rice, Nuts, Dried & Canned Beans, Sugar, Pasta, Peanut Butter, Flour, Granola Bars.

Expanding Your Horizons in Science and Mathematics™ Conference

Our branch participates in Expanding Our Horizon (EYH) Conference, which nurture girls' interest in science and math courses to encourage them to consider careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Learn more about EYH.

This year's EYH conference in Santa Fe will be held on Monday, May 23rd at Santa Fe Community College. For more information, contact Irene Lee.
