AAUW Sponsors Candidate Forums in January 2010

AAUW Santa Fe and the League of Women Voters will cosponsor two forums for candidates for upcoming local elections. Santa Fe will be electing a new Mayor and new city council members in February. AAUW has teamed up with the Santa Fe branch of the League of Women Voters to co- sponsor two candidate forums.

The first forum will be Thursday January 28, 2010 from 6.30 to 8 pm for the candidates for Santa Fe city council. This forum will be held at the Unitarian church at 107 Barcelona St., Santa Fe.

The second forum will be for candidates for Santa Fe city mayor Tuesday, February 2, from 6.30 to 8 pm at Santa Fe Prep School, 1101 Camino de Cruz Blanca, Santa Fe.

There is no charge for either forum, and the public is encouraged to attend.
