What the second graders had to say for themselves:

I thahtg that all the women scientists were cool. And I’m proud that I was able to cut the metal pipe.

I liked it when I lernd aput magnets. I like it because it was all wonen.

It was cool. I learnd how to cut a pipe. Now I no how to cut a pip. In case I buy pipes I no how to do it.

I learned if a tree is of fire part of it might be alive. If gasaliene spills it can get into lakes and wells.

I lrnd about magnets. I lrnd that the South pole & North pole are like magnets but don’t stick together.

I had fun spening money and make money. I allsow hade fun make the popes. I had fun whith the science.

Magnin do not stik to plastik that’s what I lird.  The slim[e] is made out of camiculs.

…on to third grade…

The pipes where very fun.

I liked the Docter.

I think it was cool when we played the fox game.

…on to fourth grade…

I toght this program was fun. (especaily with the dog.)

I think making the goe I liked the muknes and I like the most is carlie [the dog]

That women can do what men can do.

How they clean ground poultion People learned to know how old trees are.

…on to fifth grade…

I learned about stocks and pluming.

I got to learn about how to bouild something and how to graph it.

I found that finance & how magnets use iron & how you train dogs.

I learned about shapes, how to make polymer plastic, about dogs, about plumbing, about magnets and magnetic fiels, etcetera. This was amazing. This Careers and Curiosity presentation helped me to learn about math and science. I think that you should sometime, add more to this presentation.

…on to sixth grade…

I found out work can be fun. I loved to see how smart Charly was and how you can train them. I also thought the flubber stuff was cool and how you can build to see how it will look befor you bild it out of wood.

It helped me think about animal traning as a future career.

I found it very educational. I learned a lot, especially the way gas travels.

One of the careers can help people not to be poisoned. Another can teach people today about the past.

It made me think of being in one of those careers. It helpped me understand the career. I think archealigest are really cool.

I learned things I never knew – like what ground inspectors were. I thought this was a great project, but I think you should include a vet next time.

It taught me about fire control, water polution, and dog tranning and now I know.

To know if what I wan’t to be is as interesting as I thougt it would be. I have always wanted to be a doctor and now I know something about nerves.

This made me think of being a artatect. This made me think of being a scientest.

If I ever have to fix my sink it doesn’t look so complicated. Fires are good for trees.

I learned to invest. I made goo that bonces.

It gives us Idias on what career we want to have when we get to that point. I really liked the stock market one. It really showed us how to invest our money. I learned a lot.

Counting skills. Spending money. Measeurments. Building. It was really fun doing the stock market.

I learned how to invest money. I learned better counting skills. I learned measerments. It was a great project.

I larned about liquids and mixtures to create strange stuff.
